Knitting Pattern MAYA blouse // Top down blouse with knitted i-cord bow

LOTILDA Strickanleitung MAYA Bluse - Kurze Strickbluse mit I-Cord-Schleife

DESCRIPTION

The Maya blouse is worked top down with a round yoke. With a round yoke, all increases for sleeves, back and front piece are worked evenly spread within a row.
The blouse is first worked back and forth in rows, then closed to the round, creating a deep straight neckline. With the subsequently knitted I-cord, the neckline can either be knotted casually or tied into a bow. The short cut blouse is a perfect fit for skirts or high-waist trousers. Due to the top-down-technique, the depth of the neckline, the overall length and the sleeve length can be easily adjusted.

Both the hem and sleeve hem are cast off with an I-cord finish. Due to the tight I-cord finishes, the blouse has a balloon shape fit at sleeves and hip.
The instruction contains a detailed model sketch with all necessary measurements in the appendix, as well as a blank model sketch for your notes and adjustments.

Knitting Pattern Ella Jumper // Oversize Sweater with bat sleeves

LOTILDA Strickanleitung ELLA Jumper - Top Down Pullover mit Fledermausärmeln und V-Ausschnitt selber stricken

DESCRIPTION

The ELLA Jumper is a trapezoidal cut oversize jumper with a similar fit to a bat sweater. The jumper is worked top down with increases along the knitted pieces. You start working the first side of the neckband and front piece and shape the drop down shoulders by working short rows. The deep V-neck is shaped by increases, the slanted sleeves by decreases, which are first worked to the armhole openings.

You then pick up stitches for the second front piece as well as the back piece, which are worked to the armhole openings, too. You then place all three pieces on one circular needle and close to the round. During this process, you work additional decreases for the slanted sides at the lower body.

The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole openings. Due to the top down technique, the jumper’s length can be easily adjusted to personal measurements. The instruction includes a detailed model sketch with all necessary measurements.

As a design element, the jumper has pretty garter stitch rows and nice wide slip stitch cuffs at hem and sleeve hems. Due to the trapezoidal wide oversize cut, the jumper has a similar fit to a bat sweater.

LOTILDA KIM Cardigan

COMPOSITION

Important Note: The Patternhack for the Jumper is only available in size S and in German language. Sorry!

This cardigan with 3⁄4 length sleeves is worked seamlessly top down in one piece. Stitches for front bands as well as for shoulders and sleeves are picked up with the provisional cast on method.
You start by working the left neckband, thereafter the stitches for the provisional cast on for shoulders and sleeves to the armhole opening. The right side is worked the same way. You then undo the provisional cast ons and pick up stitches for the back from the left front, left front band, right front band and right front.
Shoulders and sleeves are shaped with short rows, the neckline with increases and the curves under the armhole openings with decreases. The lower body part is worked in a short “ribbed hem” in stockinette brioche, so that the edge doesn’t curl.
By working this cardigan top down and due to the cardigan’s special construction, it can easily be adjusted in size while knitting. All further information can be found in the instruction.

Knitting Pattern Big KIM Cardigan // Oversize Cardigan

Knitting pattern Big KIM Cardigan Oversize Cardigan english

COMPOSITION

The Big KIM cardigan with wide batwing sleeves is worked seamlessly top down in one piece. Instead of the provisional cast on method for shoulders and sleeves at the lighter summer version, you work a regular loop cast on for extra stability at the sleeves. The shoulders/sleeves are shaped by short rows and the lower sleeve seams are closed with the Kitchener stitch, so that they are nearly invisible. The cardigan has a V-neck shaping and all edges are designed with a brioche finishing.

Due to decreases on both sides of the body’s bottom, the cardigan has lovely curves under the armhole openings and gets slimmer downwards.
